Fire Flow Testing

A fire flow test is a procedure used to measure the water pressure and flow rate in a specific section of a water distribution system. It is commonly conducted to ensure there is sufficient water supply for firefighting purposes and to assess the overall capacity of the water system.

To request a Fire Flow Test from the Kinneloa Irrigation District

To request a fire flow test, a refundable deposit of $900.00 is required. Payment must be made by check, payable to the Kinneloa Irrigation District.

In addition, you must fill out Form 195 from the LA County Fire Department. The latest version of this form can be downloaded by visiting LA County Fire Department's website.

Upon receipt of both your deposit and completed Form 195, the District will review your request and promptly schedule your fire flow test.

Once the District receives the results, the General Manager will sign the Form 195 and this form will be returned to the customer. A refund (if applicable) will also be processed without delay.
